One of the latest projects I've tackled in the building of this blog has been setting up a music store. This is an exciting opportunity for me to share some of the music resources that can benefit the readers of the Harmony Passion blog. The newest category in the store is the CD/mp3 albums. Initially, I have selected recordings of classical singers that are great "vocal ideals" for any aspiring vocalist. There will be more categories coming soon.
The other categories that I have included thus far include beginning piano student sheet music, intermediate/advanced piano student sheet music, vocal sheet music, music teacher resources, helpful music tools, and some gift ideas for musicians in the "Just for Fun" category. I'm excited about the future of this endeavor, as I seek to find the best of amazon.com and compile it all in one place. Some of these resources are things that have helped me to grow personally, and others are based on the recommendations of others.
The reason that I have chosen to use Amazon as the source for these supplies is the vast selection, ready availability, and often lower price of their goods. They are also very easy to work with from my end as an affiliate. You may occasionally be able to find better prices on some of the items elsewhere by buying them used on ebay.com or other online auction sites, but for buying new items, I have found some of the best pricing on Amazon.
What do you think of the items I have selected thus far? If you have some favorite music resources that you'd like to see me include, please leave a comment on this post letting me know. This is a work in progress, and I'd really like the Harmony Passion Music Store to become a valuable starting point as you look for the best materials for learning, teaching, and enjoying your music.
